Pupil Leadership

At Fradley Park we believe in developing pupil Leadership at all ages within the school, pupils playing a key role in leadership in the community and the school. In addition to the core curriculum offer, all children from Nursery to Year 6 are offered opportunity to develop their leadership skills.

The school promotes the importance of the development of personal qualities and skills of our children which will enable them to become the leaders of the future. The development of ‘leadership’ within the school will be based on important life skills of ‘STRIPE’ – Self Manager, Team Worker, Reflective, Innovate and Create, Participate, Enquirer.

Community Work

Community work plays a vital part of the weekly curriculum. This may be in the guise of class projects or events throughout the year such as Harvest basket giving to identified local groups, activity leaders and stall holders at fayres and singing to local groups. All activities outside the classroom will support the key skills of ; 1 1 Respect, Negotiation, Positive thinking, Good work ethic, Confidence, Team work, Perseverance, Good listening and Good speaking.
