First Thoughts…

We need to get to the heart of our wonderful school, as this is where we’ll create something purposeful, something inspirational and something co-owned by all.
Tapestry

Feels obvious to me (but hopefully never a cliche) to start with the WHY, thanks https://simonsinek.com. Without question, for Fradley Park, the WHY, is where we’ll begin. We need to get to the heart of our wonderful school, as this is where we’ll create something purposeful, something inspirational and something co-owned by all.

Sinek in ‘Start with Why’ demonstrates “how much more we can achieve if we remind ourselves to start everything we do by first asking why”. So, what is our purpose at FP? What do we believe in? WHY are we here?

Starting with Community! Fradley Park is there for the children (of course) but equally there for their families and their expanding community. It’s a school that will grow with its community but also act as a vital hub and support at the centre of it. The children will have an important part to play in this development so the acquisition and application of STRIPE learning behaviours will be a priority for every child at Fradley Park. We must remember, we are preparing children to take their place, responsibly, in their community and in their world.

This is just the beginning of unpicking the WHY and it will be revisited over and over.

What do you think?

What’s your WHY for Fradley Park?
